The film is told through the use of flashbacks through the eyes of Max Eriksson played by Michael J. Fox. During the film, Max’s platoon kidnaps a woman from a village in Vietnam. Max objects this and his objections are ignored by his superiors. One member of the platoon objects to raping the woman that they kidnapped.

However, the member gives into the pressure. This leaves Eriksson as the only member whom opposes them raping the woman. As a result, the platoon forces Max to stand outside. Eriksson’s unit latoon takes up position near supply depot.

Eriksson used acts of kindness to gain to trust of the kidnapped woman and wanted to return the woman to her family. One of the platoon’s members orders another to kill the woman. However before they are able to kill her, he shoots in the air. As a result of this, the entire platoon exposes themselves to Vietnam army. As the firefight between the platoon and Viet Cong starts, the woman tries to escape. The entire platoon ends up shooting the woman to death.

Another Brian De Palma classic, anyone who appreciates great film making will appreciate Casualties Of War. It also features Michael J. Fox in more of a serious character, which really shows his range as an actor that an fan can appreciate.

This is Michael J. Fox’s iconic role from the 1980s. It is considered to be one of the best films from the 1980s. Fox plays Marty. He gets back in time to 1955 using a time traveling machine. The time machine was built by Doctor Emmett Brown. Doctor Emmett Brown is a friend of Marty.

Before the time machine was created, Emmett Brown was known for several failed inventions that never worked. One night in 1985, Marty meet up with his friend, Emmett Brown at a mall. At this point in the film, Brown reveals that he built a DeLorean time machine. The machine used plutonium, and the plutonium was stolen from terrorists.

The terrorists arrive and seemingly kill Emmett. Marty drives away in the DeLorean until it goes up to 88 miles per hour. Once this happens, Marty is accidently transported to 1955. He has to reunite his parents whom haven’t fell in love yet to ensure that he can exist in his own timeline.
